Services: Tobacco Smoking Cessation: a.  Toll free Tobacco Smoking Cessation Helpline – The OPH Tobacco Control Program supports a toll-free cessation helpline (1-800-LUNG USA) through a contract with the American Lung Association of Louisiana and a contract with an advertising agency. When the public calls the helpline, they can get tobacco cessation information mailed to them, or they can receive counseling my professional cessation experts. b. Freedom from Smoking Clinics – There are six sites throughout the state where OPH Health Units to refer Medicaid, Material and Child Health, and high-risk patients to established smoking cessation programs.
