Clinical Studies On Shot To Stop Smoking
Clinical studies have been carried in 2004 by welplex clinic on their treatment. They have been tried to measure the efficacy of their quit smoking shot treatment which use scopolamine and atropine known also as Anticholinergic blockade method.
They surveyed 200 active patient for one year observation post of treatment. They used welplex patented protocol to examine the statistic. Welplex call center collected this two hundred patient list from two clinic at random from February until April.
Those patient classified in data survey sheet between not-smoking vs smoking in month one until 12. The result of survey showed that for two month (60 days) post treatment 156 of 200 (88 %) person survive. Then until month twelve they decreased to 112 of 200 person (56 %).
There was a linear graphic from month 3 – 12. The greatest failure happened in month six. The failure in month six is related with stress in work or family. The failure population in month two was surveyed caused by lost of motivation.
In the whole population included back smoking patient have been proved that the success rate of this quit smoking treatment held by welplex clinic is 82 %.
Although this is very subjectively to this clinic. But as a whole picture, smoking cessation using shot or injection is more success compared to other method of treatment.
